This week my mom celebrated her 60th birthday. She really wanted to go see the Mexican Brown Bats in Central Phoenix leave their cave for the night. It was an amazing experience!
It seems like every week I say it was crazy and busy, and that is true. I am still working on my work-life balance. The beginning of the week will be kinder to me than the end, so I took Saturday off completely and rested. I know some teachers will go go go, but there are times that no matter how long the To-Do list a break must be had. This weekend I did work on making Google Sites units for reading that are project based. Second grade will be working toward mastery in R.I.6, R.I.1, R.I.2, and R.I.9, using the topic of health and the human body. Third grade will be working toward the same standards but using the topic of the ocean and conservation. The Sites aren't done yet, but I hope to roll them out Thursday. How was your week? Has Fall arrived in your state yet? -Mae |
